FAQ's
Q: I've got a sideboard/wall unit/display cabinet for sale, it's too good to throw away. Any suggestions?
A: We're finding often that this type of furniture is becoming more and more undisireable. It is very stylised to an individuals taste and/or to the decor of the persons property. For us to take such a large item for our little shop with not a lot of chance of retailing it would simply be bad business. The best thing we can suggest is if the individual tries to sell it privately. That said, if you are preparred to store and take what you can get for it we do offer an ebay service. We can come to view the item, photograph it and detail it or you can email us some pictures and info on it for listing on ebay. The last resort if you really do want this item out of your sight is for us to charge fee to take the item away.
Q: Do you buy second hand furniture?
A: It depends on the current retail desireablilty. We will pay for items that have been cared for and/or are in good condtition. Popular items are leather suites, pine and up to date electrical goods. Dark wood and repro furniture, dreylon suites and old electrical goods have very little to no interest now. We will endevour to give a reasonable idea over the phone, if required but it is preferable that we view the items before making a decision.
